Paper Rainbow

We did some more gluing today. I printed out a rainbow template and wrote the colours using crayon so Derek would know where to glue the matching paper. He matched a few coloured paper correctly and then had fun just sprinkling the coloured paper so I tried to direct the sprinkling to the correct spots in the rainbow. After a bit of this he was all done. I gave him another piece of paper for him to just free glue and sprinkle. He figured out that he could lift the paper up and see the coloured papers that didn’t stick fall off and he thought that’s as neat. Even if our rainbow didn’t turn out perfect it was still pretty and Derek had fun.
