Animal – Tape Rescue

I used painters tape to tape little zoo animals and lizards down to a tray. Derek then had to take the tape off to rescue the animals. He was able to complete this activity fairly easily and took him about ten minutes to complete. This is great for fine motor stills as they have to use their fingers to rescue the animals. We talked about the animals we found and their colours. You could play this activity with larger animals and bigger pieces of tape for younger children. This can also be done on a floor, table top or even the wall for added variety.
