The following link is the video where I got the idea for today’s activity and to show you how it is supposed to be done.

It was a big fail. The ends of the towel were getting in the coloured water and just dripping everywhere. Then when Derek tried to blow he wasn’t able to blow out enough air in one breath. We gave up on this activity pretty fast.

I would definitely try this with older children.
