Magic Appearing Alphabet Letters

I wrote uppercase letters with a permanent marker on one piece of paper towel. I then wrote the lowercase letters on another piece of paper towel with a different coloured permanent marker. I placed both pieces of paper towel on top of one another so you could only see one set of letters. I gave Derek a bottle of water to squeeze on the paper towels to reveal the letters on the paper towel that was underneath. At first Derek would squeeze water on the letters that he could see so I had to keep reminding him to squeeze water beside the letters to reveal the ones underneath. Squeezing the bottle was good finger exercise though I gave him some help squeezing enough water to reveal the letters. I would for next time place a blank piece of paper towel on top so it wouldn’t confuse Derek where to squeeze water and there would be more of a surprise. Overall I think I found this activity way cooler then he did.
