Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Matching

Found these cute alphabet cards online that matched the story. Printed and laminated them for Derek to play with. I had him match uppercase to uppercase and lowercase to lowercase. He did the uppercase well and matched them all. He then lost interest part way through doing the lowercase. With some redirection and motivation we managed to get all the lowercase matched. I was going to have him then match the lowercase and uppercase together but that would have been too much of a challenge and at this point he was done with the activity. I’ll try again with that another day. Derek did like that the letters looked like the ones from the book. He kept saying lines from the book while he played.
