Shape Matching Eggs

This was one of the things Derek got in his Easter basket. This kept him busy for about 10 minutes trying to match the shapes. His go too is to match by colour but after a bit of reminder that we were doing shapes he got the hang of it. He also needed some reminder to turn the eggs to get the shapes to fit better. In typical two year old fashion he wanted to throw the toy. I told him we could roll the eggs. It only after he matched them so we matched them and then rolled them u set the bed. This kept him busy for a while in a different way while still matching the eggs again.
