Painting A Bird House

Bird house built courtesy of OPA. Derek couldn’t stop asking about the bird house as he knew we were going to be painting the bird house today. Derek enjoyed painting the bird house. He kept talking about the bird that may live there and how it looked like the house from one of his books. I was a bit nervous about letting Derek make hand prints as it was special paint and I wasn’t sure how the paint was going to come off but he insisted. We went for it and it turned out great and clean up wasn’t an issue. When hanging the bird house, Derek liked the power tool but wasn’t a fan of being up on the latter. We will keep a watch on the bird house in the tree and hopefully we get a visitor.
