Ice Cube – Painting

Mix water and paint and freeze in ice cube trays. Once frozen paint using two primary colours and as the paint cubes melt the colours will mix. This didn’t quite go as planned. The paint cubes didn’t melt as fast as I was expecting so I tried warming them up in some water but Derek just wanted to mix and play with the water and not do much painting. At least he was still learning about mixing colours as was the intention of the activity anyway.
