Hand Print – Colour Mixing
Mixing primary colours to make secondary colours. Paint your child’s hand a primary colour and make a hand print. Paint other hand a different colour and make a hand print. Add more paint to hands, rub them together creating a new colour and make hand prints. Continue with the remaining colours. It was fun to see what new colours we could make by rubbing our hand together. Derek enjoyed this activity. He wanted to paint his hands and make hand prints by himself so after we were done I gave him a new paper and let him do it himself. For someone that doesn’t like to get too messy he enjoyed rubbing his paint covered hands together to make hand prints.
