Hidden Colour – Science

Hide some food colouring under baking soda and let you little scientist find them by using vinegar. Though this wasn’t a long activity, Derek enjoyed it and liked seeing what happened. It was a bit slow using the spoon. We abandoned the spoon and just poured the vinegar straight from the glass. It gets messy so be prepared and don’t let your little scientist be dressed in clean clothes like mine was. After I let Derek paint with the coloured water.
